The project involved the provision of mechanical and electrical works associated with the installation of a water pumping station at Unit III, a site north of the Abu Dhabi International Airport.

Mechanical Details

Provision of three pumps with twin speed 1.5 MW motors to deliver up to thirty million gals/day to the Unit IV reservoir and pumping station approximately 22 km away.

Provision of three pumps with variable speed motors to deliver water to local distribution systems.

All on-site meters, valves, actuators, chamber covers, and access The works also include chlorination equipment at Unit III for locally distributed water only at an existing pumping distribution station at Al Wathba.

All necessary valves and pipework within the station.
