The construction of a complete camp for the armed forces covering 120,000 square meters of built-up area on an area of 1,500,000 square meters.

The project included the following:

Accommodation, schools, gymnasium, Olympic size swimming pool, brigade headquarters, mosque for 600 people, motor transport centres, quartermaster complex, brigade gate guard, lecture hall, cinema and library.

Driver training simulator building, squadron office building, regimental store building, tank and vehicle workshop, weapons and armoury, stores, hospitals, medical centre, officers mess, squash court and playground.

Also included the necessary earthworks (1,500,000 cubic meters of excavation and backfilling) construction of 30,000 square meters of road having flush and raised kerbstones with all the

Mechanical Details

An air conditioning system of 4,500TR capacity, consisting of the following:

  • Chilled water systems, including air-cooled packaged water
  • Piping, ducting, air terminals, controls and all other associated works.
  • DX systems, including air-cooled packaged units and split type
  • Window type air conditioners and decorative type split units.
  • Water supply pipes of different sizes serving the different buildings
  • Sanitary and drainage works, including internal/external water supply system, using GI, PVC and copper pipes.
  • Installation of sanitary fixtures and complete fire fighting system.
