The project involves the demolition of existing accommodation units on Das Island and preparation of the site for construction of top-class accommodation units for senior staff. The scope of work includes the following:

Third party survey of subject works.

The demolition and disposal of materials for existing buildings, including the segregation and removal of asbestos and hazardous material, the dismantling and removal of material from the buildings and segregation for disposal,the removal and replanting of trees, the demolition of the buildings and preparation for disposal of materials, and the backfilling of the building areas and any trenches or pits.

Mechanical Details

Rerouting of all fire main lines passing the demolition area including the fire hydrants and connections with the old network.

Relocation of the irrigation network pipes including construction of all necessary road crossings, valve pits, plugging of cut pipes and installation of a new irrigation network.

Diversion of all affected sewage lines and installation of a temporary sewage connection to ensure the drainage services are working for the other Das Island buildings adjacent.

Provision all necessary protection procedures to the existing sewers and drainage pumping station.

Providing capping of the installation of all necessary accessories to the water supply main lines to ensure the services are connected to the buildings around the working area while cutting and diverting the old

Split unit AC is provided.

Electrical Details

Exploration of existing services, including high and low voltage cables, telecom cables and Etisalat telephone cables and preparation of all required drawings for rerouting the services.

Laying of new high and low voltage cables and telephone cables, testing of all cables according to ADMA-OPCO specifications, followed by splicing and diverting the power.

Preparation of detailed AutoCAD drawings for installation and testing of two new sewage pumps with control panel, all according to ADMA-OPCO specifications and procedures.

Full coordination with ADMA-OPCO engineers to detect, trace and identify the existing twenty-five-year-old live and dead electrical cables to determine the origins and destinations.

Provision of new cable ID all according to ADMA-OPCO specifications and requirements.
