The construction of reinforced concrete foundations for fourteen generating sets, (of which two were 4 MW, ten were 2.1 MW and two were one MW), for radiators, transformers and for a frame 5 John Brown 21MW gas turbine.
Supply and installation of two 1,220 square metre steel fabricated buildings for switchgear, control panels and main engine hall at Liwa. Reinforced concrete buildings for switchgear, control panels and pump house at all locations.
Supply and installation of a 3,500 square metre steel structure building to serve as a heavy equipment and vehicle maintenance workshop, compete with spare parts stores and offices.
Construction of a power house building at Liwa together with all necessary foundations for the diesel generator and gas turbine. Construction of a 3,000 square metre repair workshop.

Mechanical Details
The project consisted of the decommissioning, dismantling, relocation, installation, testing and commissioning of the following:
- One frame no 5 John Brown 21 MW gas turbine from Abu Dhabi to Liwa, complete with the cooling system, air intake, auxiliary transformers, auxiliary switchgear, fuel skid, free standing remote
- The supply and installation of internal and external lighting, air conditioning and venting of the associated buildings.
- Two 4 MW diesel generator sets from Sadiyat Island to Liwa, complete with high and low voltage panels, switch gear,
- Construction of the power house at Liwa and supply and installation of all electro mechanical services such as A/C, lighting, fire alarms, plumbing and drainage.
