Quality and HSE

At Pivot, safety is not just a priority - it's an embedded value. Every person is entitled to a safe and healthy place to work and we recognise that protecting our employees, the public, property and the environment is both a moral obligation and good business. That's why we're as careful to minimise accidents as we are to maximise quality in our construction work. Safety is not an add-on for us; it's how we work.

We go far beyond regulatory requirements. Our award-winning Accident Prevention Programme includes formal safety training, inspections, audits and a formalised system of reporting. Every manager, supervisor and employee at every level of our organisation is responsible for safety. Everyone - from the Managing Director to on-site labourers - is trained to identify and correct unsafe conditions and work practices. Our project management teams administer our Accident Prevention Program at every project site with the support of a full-time HSE Manager who reports directly to senior management.

Accidents should be highly unusual events and the majority are preventable. With this in mind, we work with the goal of zero accidents at all times.

Quality Assurance and Quality Control
Everything we do is covered by a regimen of documented procedures that ensure our operations are systematic and reliable.

Our Quality Assurance plans encompass every aspect of our operations. Specialist Quality Auditors run regular checks on the systems and recommend improvements. The functionality and flexibility of this system enables us to apply it to everything we do.

Production operations are covered by Project Specific Quality Plans which guarantee that every stage of the construction is done according to the client´s requirements. We review and refer to technical and engineering specifications and drawings at each step.

On-site, our Quality Control Inspectors ensure that every phase is carried out properly, maintaining close contact with all consultants. This means that every step of construction is done correctly the first time, every time - allowing us to move onto the next step quickly and efficiently.
