All civil and electro-mechanical works involved with the demolition of the old generator house, construction of a new one, decommissioning and moving the equipment into the new generator house and re-commissioning the equipment.

The new generator house is a concrete structure 25m x 23m with a mezzanine floor comprising toilet facilties, store room and an injection room. There are also three fuel storage tanks, located outside the building.

The project also involved construction of roadways and parking facilities.

Mechanical Details

Hot and cold water system, including all plumbing and sanitary fixtures. Hot water pipes are all copper and cold water are all PVC.

Piping and pumping system for the fuel supply from the tanks.

Electrical Details

Transfer of one 2.2 megawatt diesel generator and two 500 KVA generators from the old to the new generator house, complete with all accessories.
