His Highness Mohammed Bin Khalid Al Nahyan Building

The project involved the construction of a new building for His
Highness Mohammed Bin Khalid Al Nahyan at Khalidiya, Abu
Dhabi. The building is a reinforced concrete structure on piles,
resting on a plot of 100' x 100' (30.48m x 30.48m).
The building consists of a basement, ground floor, mezzanine and
nineteen typical floors, with a total floor area of 24,000 square
metres. The external façade is glass and ceramic.
The building was designed for commercial and residential use
and has four flats on each of the nineteen typical floors.

Mechanical Details
Air conditioning and ventilation:
Six chillers with all required air handling units and fan coil units as
well as all exhaust/fresh air fans. Distribution is done with GI
Plumbing and drainage:
All hot and cold water piping with all related accessories, water
tanks and pumps as well as all drainage pipes and manholes
Fire fighting:
Dry risers, halon system, GI piping to all areas, including basement
and roof, sprinklers, pumps, fire cabinets, hose reels and fire

Electrical Details
The supply, installation, testing and commissioning of :
-Small power and lighting including conduiting, wiring, wiring
accessories and lighting fixtures
- Power distribution including main distribution boards, sub-main
distribution boards, isolators, starters and control panels, cabling,
cable trays and trunking.
- Bus bar riser;
- Standby generators and automatic changeover switches.
- Earthing and lightning protection system.
- Fire alarm system;
- Master Antenna TV system;
- Video Intercom system
- Shop drawings and builder's work drawings.
- Operation and maintenance manuals and as-built drawings.
