The project involved all civil and electro-mechanical works required for the construction of a two storey luxury resort hotel with 228 rooms on a 400m x 300m site. The total floor area of the hotel, including the health club, is 11,884 square meters.

The project also involved the construction of the following:
Service building, staff accommodation, supervisors' accommodation, staff recreation, engineering workshop, health club, sauna/Jacuzzi, tennis courts, local bar and swimming pool.

The project involved all civil, electrical and mechanical construction, including installation and commissioning.

Mechanical Details

Air conditioning and ventilation:
Three 630 ton chillers with 224 air handling units and fan coil units as well as all exhaust/fresh air fans. Distribution is done with GI

Plumbing and drainage:
All hot and cold water piping with all related accessories, water tanks and pumps as well as all drainage pipes and manholes

Fire fighting:
Dry risers, halon system, GI piping to all areas, including basement and roof, sprinklers, pumps, fire cabinets, hose reels and fire

Kitchen and Laundry equipment:
Installation of all the hotel kitchen and laundry equipment, boilers Swimming pool filtration and heating system.

Electrical Details

The supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the following:

  • Bus bar risers, cabling and distribution boards, main, submain and final distribution boards, motor control centre, capacitor bank,
  • Small power and lighting, earthing and lightning protection, addressable fire alarm system, MATV system, music system, PA system, UPS system and telephone system.
  • Generator, lifts, UPS system, distribution transformer.
