The project involved the complete construction of the fuel depot. The depot is intended for the storage and transfer of fuel for onshore distribution. It consists of a tank farm and associated infrastructure.
The tank farm consists of one 3,000 cu.m. tank for 97 octane fuel, two 2,000 cu.m. tanks for gas oil, two 1,000 cu.m. tanks for 90 octane and for fuel oil, three underground fibreglass 5,000 gal for kerosene and a 600 cu.m. water tank for firefighting.
This was a turnkey contract, including all civil, electrical and mechanical works. In addition to the tanks, the project involved construction of an office building, electric substation, workshop building, product pump house, fire pump house and canopy.
Civil works include all kinds of earthwork, roadways, parking areas, tank foundations, culverts, trenches, bund walls, boundary walls, steel platforms and steel structures.

Mechanical Details
The complete supply and installation of fuel and water storage tanks; capacity 1000-3000 cubic metres; including coating, instrumentation and cathodic protection.
The fire protection system involved provision for pumping water from the sea floor to the fire water ring main, water storage and pumping.
Fire water ring main and the air-conditioning as well as services to all buildings.
